Did the same thing last year, brand new rear tyre, first spoin out to scrub in the tyre, picked up a nail & ****** the tyre. Not at all amused.

Last may, I picked up what looked to be half a bottle bottom on a brand new sportsmart...I'd done just 17 miles...and was on my way to catch a ferry up in scotland.
Plugged it temporarily at the roadside, and rode steadily to deemontweeks in wrexham (almost on route) within 30 mins I've got a new one fitted, and a new puncture repair kit and on the road again...but minus £140...bastids...
