Evening all,

Only just joined the forum after purchasing my first Tuono.

I have purchased a brand new 59 plate (when we get there) Tuono R in Ice White fitted with twin titanium Akropovic cans and an R & G tail tidy £6,995.00 for the lot. Purchased from Taz Motorcycles in Peterborough really happy with deal, moving up to a Tuono from a 57 plate Z750 which I have loved, but always wanted a Tuono after my first bikes seven years ago after I had a couple of SV 650's, really love the twin's above a four and I now can afford to insure a big thumping thou.

Roll on the 12th September, I can't wait!

Any advice greatfully recieved.

James

Hi James. I think you are going to love the T a bit more than the Z750. You'll have more power, better handling and its still comfortable. I've had 3 (now on a Factory version) and i honestly can't think of any other bike that would be a better suited to me.

Anyway, you've arranged the Akras, so the next step is put a 15 tooth front sprocket on. The T is slightly high geared so you end up slipping the clutch a lot around town. The 15 tooth lowers it just enough to make life easier. I'd get this done before you pick it up.

:cheers

Hello and welcome. Bit of a wait for the new toy eh?

If its running the new cans make sure its upto Map 2 and latest firmware before you get it. I am sure it will be but worth asking.

Anyway yes get the 15T on there makes a hell of a difference, have them do it before you pick it up they may even do it for bugger all if your lucky!

Thats a decent price though.

:cheers

Go two up on the back as well and you get up there a LOT quicker. The only difference it made to Andiamo is that I top out in sixth now instead of fifth. I plan on an additional Tuono of the Factory variety when they get rid of that damn gold frame. Don't want a T4, but yes, lusting after an RSV4.
Welcome to a grand obsession. 34K km and going strong... In fact, **** this, the sun is shining and I am going for a ride!! Later!

Ha fookin ha. YOU will not fit on an RSV4.:kicknuts

Hello James. You got the deal of the century mate. :thumbup

I just need to drop about four stone, nobby my bonny lad. Without the pre-frontal ballast. I should be able (with all my yoga training) to get on the RSV4 and (looking like a bear humping a football) go for a hoon! Was able to see the RSV4 in Noale, but wasn't allowed to sit on it. :( Waiting to see one soon so that I can rub my private parts on it...

I plonked myself on one and got told I looked a right 'see you next tuesday'

Forgive a Commonwealther not understanding your pommy slang... wtf does that mean? That you wanted to buy one, but " I'll gladly pay you Tuesday for a hamburger today"?

My gut was all over the Rsvr I had so you can imagine the V4 picture. Anyhoo I lurvvve my T.

Another New Tuono Owner Saying Hello

Morning all,

Only just joined the forum after purchasing my first Tuono.

I have purchased a 58 plate Tuono "hallowed Factory" fitted with, Corsa Pro's (120/190) twin Scorion titanium cans, baffles removed an R & G tail tidy, and ikkle number plate.

Decided to move from fared bikes after owning a blade in some form over the past 9 years, and you all know what I mean when I say the T is a ear to ear grin machine, mind you I have noticed how thursty this steed is, only got 90 Miles out of my first full tank. he he he

And I adore all the "shiver, shiver" Carrrr :drool bon, just need to have a play with the ooohlins suspension, as it feels lacking feel at the front, under brakeing.

Any tips on set-up? 12.5 stone fella

Any way, hi to al my fellow T owners :thumbup:thumbup:thumbup:thumbup

Sounds like a beast mate, can we see her ?

Took a vid or her after the stock can swap, but alas no pic's, I hang my head in shame as i type.....

She's also had the 15t sprocket swapped out too

She is a she, as we all know how querky the T is, no 32mph reading, foggy dash, false neutrals, and rear indicators that have no water seals.

Sounds like a woman to me !!!!

yeah doris is a she who likes to be rode hard .
i need to do the 15 tooth swap... is it easy to do ???

Got it sawpped at the dealer, got the Service Manual on CD so I can get my datatool digi fitted and have a guide incase little thing go wrong

welcome tuono james good price at taz for a new tuono : ) those 3 second hand factorys are a bit on the expensive side tho
