Hi there,
Names Sam, i`m from Leicester England, and i`m picking up my 2001 RSV-R 19k miles in yellow on Saturday having never even ridden a V-Twin before, but absolutely loving the sound of it!
Currently riding a kawasaki ZX6-R B1h which i`ll be chopping in for the RSV-R, looking forward to it like you won`t believe!
Previous bikes, Bandit 1200 and a bandit 600. I think this is going to be a step up from the 636, i know bhp wise the RSV is similar to my 636 (113hp?) but the torque is a world away, and i`ve heard the Aprilias make power in an addictive lump.
so, what can i expect!? I`m not normally quite so spontaneous, i spend loads of time test riding all kinds of machines, but i saw this one and knew i didnt need to ride it
And also, i know i`m boring you now, but what can i expect maintainance wise for a Mille with 19k on the clocks?
Thanks, and i hope to post some pictures of the bike when shes safely home on Saturday.
