Hi everyone, a new Aprilia owner just checking in
I have always had a passion for Italian motorcycles, not to mention the Italian ladies, which aint half bad either.
So, I have just bought an 08 Tuono Factory. Always had an interest in these bikes but never got round to owning one till now. Had my first ride out yesterday, it left me grinning like a Cheshire cat. Not that I am a madass by any means, but the ride was so different compared to any of the other bikes I have had or still have. I loved it!!!

Sold a Triumph Tiger 1050 in favour of the Tuono, I found that the Tiger just seemed to be a bit of a boring ride and took the excitement out of riding a motorcycle.
Had planned plenty of touring weeks away but lost interest in that too.

Rambled on a bit there, but I now have another favourite bike in the garage, Yahoooo!!

Greetings & nice to see a proper intro. That grin has come up yet again :thumbup

Well i don't grin when I'm riding. Well only when I look in my mirrors and see someone following on the wrong side of the road going around a bend and when someone has to be home early shoots off and gets lost.

Lol. That's why I didn't go that way last sat. Thought best safer stick to the straighter roads for u fella hahaha. I've not ploughed any fields for a while now ;)

I was just seeing what it was like over there, getting a better view.

Ahhhh like the police ride u mean. Get out as far as u can to see around the bend. Now I get it. Good come back.

Still don't believe u though

No I just ****** up & was lucky nothing was coming!

Riding god me - not :)

Dunno didn't see you for 20 mins. But yes theory is sound just takes practice I suppose.

This motorcycling lark isn't flipping easy is it. Ten yrs I've been riding and feel like a flipping novice. By the time I'm any good at it I'll be dead through excessive sniftering.

I think its safer to think you're worse than u are. Over confidence causes accidents. Im more of a what if guy when riding on the road rather than a oh it'll be fine

I've got no issues with having to constantly improve and learn new things. I'm an IT lecturer after all it's a big part of my job.

However sometimes it would be nice to be at that comfortable level. Hmm I think I've just gone into ******** mode? **** must have been that last glass of wine.
