New boy question

Morning! I'm about to get a 2001 rsvr and it has the standard single seat set up on it. Can anyone give me an idea as to the cost and parts needed to convert to dual seat as I want to be able to carry pillions. Assumingly, different subframe, rear seat pad, peg hangers? Tail unit itself stay the same?Any recommendations as to where to source the parts other than seperately on ebay?

I think its just gonna be the subframe you need.
go on ebay all the time.Prolly about 40-70 for the subframe and 20 fer a seat.If you dont want ebay you could try breakers like Blacks bikes, but you will prolly spend more.

Thanks for the quick reply carbon. Don't suppose anyone has the bits laying around getting dusty after a conversion in the opposite direction? Track day or race bike?

Thanks for all the replies. As an aside. anyone know if the pillion footrest hangers from a Tuono will fit the dual seat subframe on an RSV (2001 model)? If so, any known issues with locating the exhaust? :dunno
