Since there are a few T riders here in North Queensland (Towie, et al), I thought I'd post some details about the brand new Ape dealer here in town.

"Revhedz" it's called. It's new shop is at 5/262 Woolcock St Currajong.

I spoke to the manager, John Cicero this morning. He seems committed to doing justice to the brand by offering quality service, servicing plus a comprehensive range of bikes and merchandise. They're also a Kawasaki, Moto Guzzi and Jet Ski dealer. WRT the service side of things, only time will tell.

They've not officially opened yet, but despite this, had a steady stream of customers through the door. Official opening will be in 2-3 weeks.

With the pending withdrawal from Aprilia by Euro Motorcycles (where I bought my T), It is certainly good to see someone taking on the brand up here with enthusiasm, and commitment. It seems I will get to see the new RSV4 in Townsville after all (as well as the Mana and Dorsoduro):thumbup

:thumbup always great to have an enthusiastic shop near by. I find that newish shops are often especially good:)

Yes motivate to get our business yet often unmotivated to give the service required, and at a level we demand and pay for..... $$$$$$ should speak but seems not to since we moved to Nth Qld...
Maybe in your neck of the woods in a week or so Dave will let you know.. cheers Towie

Will do Dave a mate in Townsville owns a Falco booked service 3 weeks ahead turned up today at Euro & was told "we no longer do them"
No phone call - just paid $500 odd for 2 tyres in Redwing and took them to the workshop to find that reply.... great service ...

I rest my case.

I wonder where that leaves both of us with any warrantee issues???

As far as I'm concerned, RSH still "owns" my warrantee. Until I'm officially notified otherwise, that is.

I dont think it matters where the hell you go with a warranty claim all outlets are obligated to help you out...
I had no problem getting my dash replaced up here the question was never asked "where did you buy it?"
Revheads would be happy to help im sure, in the long run it means more services parts mods etc... even your next bike perhaps... so i would not worry
