Need a new engine

Shame to hear stuff like this happening does put you off the brand especially when the jap stuff will take lots of trashing and abuse and still keep going

Can't say i'm put off the brand, It just now owes me money and I have to sell to reclaim it. I think I would buy another in the future, Maybe just go straight to the RSV4, I just don't quite trust the Tuono v4 engine.

I am never buying Italian again, Aprilia and Ducati will be avoided by me from now on.

yep know what you mean about Italian !!! ive got a 17 plate Iveco van with 6000 m on the clock and the clutch failed .

due to to the feed pipe from the master cylinder coming adrift from the slave cylinder .

slave cyl made from plastic and mounted on a very flimsy metal bracket fixed to the gearbox with only 2 bolts ( there should have been 4 ) obviously too much for gino to deal with so left them out on the assembly line .

this is a £ 75 k special purpose vehicle , not fookin impressed with build quality . this left me stranded for 5 hours waiting for heavy recovery , and a 2 hour journy to the workshop

however I drive an alfa romeo and touch wood have had no probs with . in 3 years .

all manufacturers produce lemons but its the quality of back up and service , so sad to say but it will be german from now on .

John from Bikersworld in East Grinsted popped round and fixed the bike. It wouldn't start because a pin from one of the connectors had managed to pop out of its housing a little bit (so it was very hard to spot). bike now fixed, very impressed with John's ability to diagnose the fault
