National Aprilia Day Report

I was busy so only popped in for an hour and kept myself to myself, but clubaprilia did a brilliant job getting it all together. A big thanks to their events organiser Chaos for arranging everything again. It was nice of them to invite us along wasn't it.

I agree, Chaos did a great job as he always does and Club Aprilia event are going from strength to strength, but then a big thanks should also go to Sharky for finding the venue and organising the live entertainment :thumbup:thumbup
 
Well what can i say a BIG thanks to all the members that turned up and made it a fantastic weekend nice to meet some new faces I'd like to say thankyou to Ricky and Russ from clubaprilia letting us gatecrash there event and look forward to doing it again next year.A big thankyou goes out to my passenger seat in my car as i ended up sleeping in there friday night because of that bloody generator that belonged to the aprilia experiance and just to let the rest of the lads know that the lads at the aprilia experiance had left the generator running all night to charge up the batteries that had gone flat and they went and stayed in the local hotel. I will try and get some pics on as soon as i can but having a few probs with the computer at the moment Many thanks to Little1 who done a hell of a lot of fetching and carrying for us.
As it was our first year we had some minor teething probs but they can be sorted for next year and if anyone out there has got some instructions for a 6m x 3m marquee they we may need some for next year as ours got a little bit wet
 
did you all sleep in the marquee or did you all take your own tents?
would you recommend riding down or, for those of you that did,
was driving down in the car the better option?
 
I Was Only There For Saturday, But Next Year I Would Love To Stay Overnight! I Hear It Is Fun, So I Might Have To Try It Out! :biggrin I Sold 2 Shirts :doug
I Hope Next Year Is A Better Turn Out, But There Was A reasonable Amount Of People Turn Up. There Was A Couple Of Funny Moments When 2 People Dropped Their Bikes :jack Hopefully I Can Bring My Bike Along Next Year :dunno Overall It Was A Brilliant Day!!
 
Only took the car because i had **** loads of stuff to take over next year going to take the bike on a trailor and some slept in the marquee and some in tents which ever way no problems

:slyNow reading this bit above has got me thinking (sarkybastard yep you're right there:devious)clubaprilia member yes you are(3 posts on RSV since joining in july last year:devious)Now is it true that you were only there for an hour and why didn't you come in and say hello to us leading me to the next point
A certain clubaprilia member on saturday night was offended that 2 of the bar staff girls(Sophie and Jo) were wearing RSV zone tee shirts and asked the girls to remove them was that you and one certain member refused to buy our raffle tickets and wouldn't shake my hand when i said good bye to him was that you this is a bit like cluedo eerrmm
Anyway to add to the above it was a pleasure meeting up with Chaos,Freestyler and Ricky Rotax at The Three horseshoe's pub prior to the day of the event to help in what ever way way we could and i also think that Clubaprilia letting us join them for the day worked very well and we gladly look forward to next year when we can only improve and make it even bigger than this year so you sarkybastard :nanaif you want to pop in and see us next year we'll be there(wedding marquee as well ):cheers

We were dead opposite ya mate, we had the wedding tent and looked like a bunch of gypsy's :lol:lol:lol:lol,
