Thanks for the info, i will check the guys out at PDQ, as i need to make the bike about an inch lower, the thing about the bike in town, was the previous owner had the clutch set incorrectly - i've tweeked it and now its awesome, find neutral with ease and generally much more comfortable and confident on it. I will check to see if the eprom has been upgraded - what i plan to do next is the pipes, eprom and airbox - not sure if i just change the air-filter to a pipercross one or if there has to be other mods.
I want personalise the bike to way i want it. Will all the mods increase the HP output?

Get a Hooded Airbox (or an Evo one)...gives free flow filter and opens up airbox (just do search for them on here)...great induction roar :) :) .....get an updated Eprom from Dr Rossi on here...70Eur I think was last price I seen quoted...sorted :) .......then PCIII,... 57mm TBs,.... 1060 kit,...how deep are your pockets lol!!!! ;)

Ha ha....Hooked Airbox ...doh! stupid fingers :)

I too occassionally have dislexic fingers! ;)

Joke, to those that are dislexic - no offence intended..... :)

When I bought my mille I noticed that the seat had some of the padding missing so you are sat lower. The only thing is that it is harder to move around the bike as where the padding is missing your arse is well planted.

Well, during the service it was noted I need a new rear brake master cylinder and a new clutch slave. My poor, poor wallet.... :(

Good chance you've been had unless you never wash or check over the bike or it has 30+k miles....never known either to need replacing on a clean bike.

I know there's no rear brake, and I am losing clutch fluid.... TBH, I've not seen any fluid from ner the clutch end of teh system, so I'll have a nosey myself. Besides, the blokey I take it to is a good mate and he won't be doing the work ;)

stand problem solved gsxr 750 stand

hi there i have just bought a 2000 rsv and the previous owner put a gsxr 750 stand on it and it works really well just like a normal bike stand its great, not upright like the original.hope this helps?

None takin m8 ,could you find oot fae yer pal wot he's doing wi the engine might be interesting to find out:thumbup,as for the geearing m8 its purely personal some like life on the back wheel :inloveothers like to use there bike more conservetivley(again pish spellin i think). On a track it should help with lower gearing but i will know the answer to this l8r the day as first trackday since i changed gearing. Will keep yous informed how i get on:thumbup

now then lads,

jus got my bike back from the aprilia bloke, he said he changed it to map 2 and played with the throttle bodys setting up the CO's ect so it ready for my new cans when they arrive (MIVV GP CARBON).
Not sure what all this means but the bike is running sweet as a nut now, i have loads more confidence in it and f***ing loving my big twin, managed to blow out my mate on a TL1000 in a straight line blast aswell.

the guy who i have been put in touch with is based in YORK if anyone is interested? ASL MOTORCYCLES. he was very helpfull to a non mechanicly minded person like myself and quite cheap too.
