Dear users.
I have a problem. My Aprilia RSV built in 1999 will suddenly not start.
If I start button impression I hear only tapping the relay in the buddy.
The three different relay I also checked because I have replaced them with those of my
sons engine (same model) and it does start.
The starter I also checked and tested and this is good.
The battery is full. Fuses are all fine.
If I measure the voltage at the terminals of the starter I measure 0 V.
And now the weather is nice, and that's the most terrible it.
Who has suggestions? Like some help.
Could this be something banal imbued or should I send for him for repair?
A desperate motorcyclist.

Starter solenoid..common fault.. Ive had it go on my bike a few times..if you just hear a click then it's your solenoid

Hello reeves84,
Thanks for your reply. Where is that starter solenoid located on the bike? I am looking for it in the meanwhile but I like to be sure about it offcourse. Thanks!

It's under the seat at the back of the battery.. I have a spare one if needed for sale.. You can message me on 07401009153

Thanks reeves84. There are three solenoids. One is grey and the other two are black and the same. I changed them all with the solenoids from my sons bike and my bike didn't start with them and his bike did after that.
So I think it's the starting engine. I think I have to put his starting engine in my bike to know it for sure.

Thanks for your reaction reeves84 but I don't need it. My unit with the start button was the problem. I ordered it yesterday and I receive it today I think.

Hallo reeves84. It wasn't the start button. So I think it's what you said. It's not located under the buddy seat but under the main seat behind the battery? I have never seen such a thing.
It's raining now but I will look for it soon.
