MLP BILLET CLUTCH SLAVE fitting question

You guys won't be disappointed...i have had mine fitted for a few weeks now..best thing i ever did. The MPL slave is a quality part and does so much of a difference. A very happy customer here. I got mine for US $139.00 from the states. Cheers & good luck with the bulk buy in..nice hookup Spoonz :D .. i can definately reccommend MPL :thumbup

:confused No m8 u need new bolts 4sure !!! lololololol :thumbup

The MPL slave comes with 3 aluminium mounting bolts, identical length to replace the steel originals. ( least they did come with mine) the original bolts will allow you to mount the unit.

I am at work at the moment, when i get a chance i will let you know.

But i think its only the serial number anyway. Looks like AusRSV has the best number

if people can give me an idea on quantity i will ask Uli if he can do a deal.

I am interested spoonz, let us know when you get price, just dont fancy paying £109, my clutch is not that bad, I remember a time when you could pick these things up for anything from £50 - £70 from MPL on ebay, obviously they must have been losing too much money, they dont seem to sell them on ebay anymore,:angry. Cheers mate.

The Ebay thing was a lost leader to establish the company in the marketplace.

I'm sure they still made money. Once tooled up etc there isn't that much in terms of cost in producing them. I bet the mark up is very high.

If you knew how much Aprilia pay for the Oz wheels (Now made in china) you would fall over. Think what you would consider cheap and quarter it.

Gotta find out who these Chinese wheel makers are then Spoonz, my wheels are soooo boring they make me yawn when I clean them. :eatcorn

I love those blue OZ's that were for sale but wouldn't fit mine. :inlove

Heard back from Uli this morning.

You on for a discount on group orders.

The more you buy the cheaper it gets. I have to report back numbers and he will give us the price. Maybe a team up with Club Aprilia might be a good idea.

i can't post it on Rsvr.net cos they sell their own and it would be a bit naughty.

Hi Guys,

I just bought a APRILIA RSV RSVR MILLE TUONO MLP BILLET CLUTCH SLAVE from ebay.

It's supposed to make the clutch much easier on my RSV Mille 2001, i just not sure what's the best way to fit it? Any tips apart from read the manual ;-)

Thanks

Jacko

Well today I fitted the MPL Slave Cylinder! Here's what i did.

Removed the Banjo Bolt from the Aprilia Slave Cylinder and swapped it onto the new MPL one.

Bolted the MPL Cylinder onto the bike in place of the Aprilia one.

Pulled the clutch lever while opening the bleed nipple above the banjo bolt, then shut the nipple and release the lever. Repeat until all air is gone.

Got all the air out and it's really much better than the old one, you guys should really all get one!
