Well thats it then. Lets give V twins a try. My Gixer 600 is going up for sale in the near future. I hope i'll be pleased.:pirate

and the whole package really,
it handles superbly, and every last drop of that power is useable.
its the only bike ive ridden that i can do what i want with it/stick it anywere and have 100% confidence in it.
havent ridden mine for over a week, done 300 miles on it today and it felt absolutely fantastic, loved every mile and dint wanna get off it tbh.
was constantly shouting in my helmet "GOD I LOVE THIS BIKE"!
thats only ever happened once before, and that was in 2000 when i got my 98 r1,and the mille is by far the better riders bike.

the thing is the RSV may not be the most powerfull sports bike out there on paper but what makes it good is the way it delivers that power

Exactly Carpe, just watch those Ducati's in World and British Superbike. They are around 25 hp down on max power on the Yamaha and Suzuki's but it's the way the V twin delivers it's power that makes up the difference in performance. It's the same on the road too, A well set up, correctly geared Mille and RSVR should be able to out handle and out grunt most things up to a point. It's only when silly speeds are approached and power and high revs overcomes wind resistance that the differences to latest Jap fours becomes apparent
