How many miles are you getting to a tank of fuel? How many miles after the fuel light comes on?

just wondering im at 180 right now and the light came on about 160 that was the trip home from austin i was so tired yesterday i pushed it farther than i normally would. guess ill take a can to get some rather than try riding it lol. still stock gearing new rubber and riding mostly about 85 with a few hits to 140-145 acording to the gps. seems like the speedo is off by about 6 mph at that speed.bike was stock with airbox mod, k&n, and factory pipe drilled through plus clipped pin 16.

well thats 100 miles more than I get,80-90 max on a tank till the wee light comes on,but I dont hang about,

On me bog stocker '02 I used to get 136-137miles before I had to push, this could be anywhere/anyhow from hooning through London to belting along the B roads, not to mention the odd blast up to 150ish (on a private road honest occiffer.) On me nice shiney new '02 with PCIII and ACRAPOVICH I got 146 to the tank the other day and still made it to the (now bloody expensive) petrol station.

Up til now been running to 140-145 then filling up. But at least I know what the possibilities are

All the talk about a power commander giving better fuel economy is bollocks it does make your bike run like the bomb but it'll still sook the juice mines had k&n air filter pc3 pc quickshifter mivv x-cones and map to suit and 1 down on front and 2 up on back and i could blow a tank in 50 miles to the light on track and only got 60 to 70 on the road so morale of the story drive like miss daisey and save the world or give it welly **** the planet........

140 and then I fill it up, light or no light. That's on a Falco mind. Ridden enthusiastically. Ain't come across a Mille yet that has left me behind.

I get 80-90 miles to a tank on my '05 R, but can't check actual mpg by brimming the tank, as even when I leave about 1" air gap at the top, I come home with my crown jewels stinking of petrol - I'm sure I've readsomething about seals or pipes on here - must look it up at some point...

Well put 150 on today with the new tires pipe and pcIII fuel light isn't on yet :)

i cant believe some of the figures im seeing! i get 80 miles to the fuel light max. ive gone to 100 miles with the light on then i bottled it and fuelled up. i dont ride like a nutter everyday but i have got a power commander fitted and a can. so all the guys with poor mileage do you all have power commanders fitted and the people getting higher mileage all have standard setups?

I dont get anywhere ner those big figures lol. As with the other guys id say 90-100 with a mix of riding.

Was just with reference to the below dude. Unless thats in KM aswell lol
