Mileage on a tank of fuel

Depends on how hard ya ride........ Seen 120+ before light, and other times a mere 80-85 if I'm really enjoyin myself :thumbup

But as rs3 mille so boldly puts it.............. WHO CARES! :doug:doug:doug

Man, have you got some sort of Dakar Rally tank on that thing....I don't think I could get that mileage even if I kept the revs low, hardly touched the throttle and freewheeled down hills!:dowhat

I am not easy on it, nor do I actually "race" it, all of the time, but when I do beat the ***** out of it, my mileage doesnt really drop much.

Usually get 180-200Km before light (200=124m) thats country riding, less around town.

Maybe i'm not twistin' it enough, i was regularly getting 140 to 150 miles before the light came on, riding to the alps last year mainly on french motorways, though i was brimming the tank each time. Normal fast road rinding sees about 110 before reserve light

legs mate, wot mods are you running, depending what you have done(to bike-tuning wise) the miles per tank can vary quite a bit, not least how you ride, (ie, ragging it in lower gears-not rolling iton in top two) you seem to be geting 30 miles more b4 light than me(I have a lot of mods tho...but the pc111 should sort mpg better than not)
at the end of the day its really only BMW owners that should be bothered with MPG!!-as the saying goes'who cares-fill her up'. I do believe with my mods it has nosedived somewhat re:mpg-but it was worth it!!
cheers CK
