Hmm i think i got about 80 the other day:dunno but it was hard going and sitting at 155MPH for a while(on private roads):devious but i hvae had 120 out of a tank before the light came on:thumbup
Not really sure Doc...around 110 if I had to put a number to it :dunno I haven't had it long enough yet.
To be honest, I dont really care :eatcorn. I bought this bike for the looks, performance and joy it gives me while riding it :inlove. If I wanted a bike that gave me good fuel consumption I'd have bought a...a...well I'd have kept my last bike a CBR600F, that was good on petrol but a little lacking in the fun factor if you know what I mean :devious
Usually get the light coming on at 75-80 miles, but know that the bike will do at least 90 before 'panic' sets in...the light needs to be on solidly, not on/off as you tip into bends etc.. So not overly economical BUT that's not the point!
75 if I ride like an arse. 90-100 if the roads are crap. Sustained 130-150 mph on the autobahns still give 100-110 a tank!. Depends if you are ragging the throttle hand and going up and down the gears.Reserve light on my 02 equals 4 litres or 40 miles if you really behave.
CK
Same here dave ..... 100-120 miles before the light comes on :thumbup, quite a few have had variouse mods that will make the bike use more but 80-100 sounds a bit thirsty on a full tank :dunno
rememeber doc, thats 100-120(if you are smooth) then youo have the 4 litres reserve, so it should do about 150 all in.
Been meaning to take a litre or two of fuel with me and seeing how far til dry.
I usually get 110 before the light goes on. I am cofortable doing 130 on average, but I did 155 once because I couldnt find a gas station, and I only put in a little more than four gallons, so there was still more in there.

Man, have you got some sort of Dakar Rally tank on that thing....I don't think I could get that mileage even if I kept the revs low, hardly touched the throttle and freewheeled down hills!:dowhat
