Mesh and grills

To be honest I'm not sure, wanted silver and that was the only one they had. Will see in time if it's stainless or plated :dunno

well what ever the case they look the part mate.

If its magnetic its mild steel and is probably zinc plated. Stainless steel mesh would be twice that price.

Thanks for the compliment ukcustombike..keep us posted how you get on with yours :thumbup

I just used plastic zip ties through the rad, worked fine as the rad does not get that hot it will melt pastic:thumbup

If you go to B & Q warehouse they do a sheet 1000 x 500 its in the mess section around tools and it is item number 41 on their chart its 0.8 mm followed by code number of 2016-5520
Its termed as Drawn Raw Alu barcode of 3 232630223956 cost about £25.
There is loads there if you make a mistake enough to do quite a few bikes

sounds like a good buy also mick.

The mesh i got off ebay is just over 2mm thick 1000mmx250mm, so its not flimsy. At £12 delivered to your door you cant go wrong, theres just enough to make guards for 2 bikes.
