Mass Tuono meet up at

Camping's funnier. We'll have more dough to spend on :cheers then.
Ferry, chunnel ?????????

True dat on the sat nav. Eight hours from Bologna to San Giorgio by sat nav... and two hrs by the highway.

And I'll prolly be rocking the AGV St Andrews... :p

I too am leaning to a WSB race so I can cheer on the Aprilias... The crowd isn't as uppity and you can get near the pits as well. Buuuuuut, to be able to see Vale rocking the M1 in person has a certain amount of merit too.... Feck... Later in the season would be better for me. And gotta get the missus back to work, so that there is some liquid funds for frivolity.

Only 3 up to now. Just need a side car nailed on to Weeksy's T

Maybe consider the Wsbk or Gp at Assen. Might encourage some of the Highlanders to come along. Did the Wsbk this year, got an overnight/cabin ferry from Hull to Zebbrugge for £40. Cheap ale too and a great craic. Camping was £12-50 a night with good facilities,ie tv/showers/bar/food and an easy walk past a few bars to the track. Probably cost all in £350, juice/ale/digs/ferry/tickets/grub etc and we had 1 night on the ferry, 2 nights camping and another night on the ferry. Went Friday morning and came back Monday to get home Tuesday to avoid the mad dash. Approx 150 miles to Assen from the Europoort. Its worth going just to see all the Brits taking the roads over.
Looked at Magny and its prov dated for 3-10-10, Assen Wsbk and Gp are in the spring/summer.

???????

Tunnel is way way quicker. Ferry was nice, but dull as arseholes and slow as Shovel on the Twisties :)

Hmmm missed that crack the last time thru. Just because I'm a little fluffier and taller than you squatchy lil pissant Islanders you assume that I'm to slow to keep up with you young punks that used to race. Yer probably right. But I still have fun trying...

Young, LOL... i wish mate... 40 almost...

So, ideally if you can fly into Heathrow i'm only 25 mins away from there. (So is the bike). I can put you up in relative comfort on a double sofa bed. However be prepared for a 2 year old lunatic jumping and shouting :)

The only thing you really need to worry about is insurance for the T. I dunno how it works over in UK for people coming over, but i assume there's a plan. I'll ask on another forum about it

Helmet you'll need and really i don't think i can find textiles/leathers in your size LOL. I rekon my KTM jacket may fit you though. how BIG are you ?

So all we need now is a date, location and list of guys who are up for it.

Nobist, aye that sounds like a good idea, maybe rattle a few windows as we trundle along the road.

On the same subject anyone off to the TT next year

I'll be bringing me own clobber lad... I'm 6'5" and 270, so ye can see in that pic, the Yellow Power Ranger suit is made of seven cows. I'm hoping to have something les obtrusive the next season. And yer seven years younger, so I still get to make fun of your apple cheeks and downy chin fuzz.

Right then Wolfman, if your'e willing to travel all that way and bring your own clobber to meet up with us lot we can't have you kipping on the floor can we ??
Fookin ell it'll be like Obama's coming :yes:yes
Hotel then :yes
If were going anywhere busy we'll have to get a move on for digs. You wanna try getting nearer to the date of a race, near impossible or plenty plenty wonga.

dont take this the wrong way chaps, but every time i have met other people at race meetings, its hello ! and see you at the end of the day, maybe.

best few days i had last year was when we and a few guys from holland met up in germany, do a few laps of the ring, day around the tyroll and a few nights on the piss.

just a thought.

sliders guesthouse?

Imola or Magny Cours WSB works best for me. Tail end of the riding season here and allowsme to put some dosh away, subsequent to Christmas. Portugal is an idea for GP, but a long effing way to travel. And I have no qualms about kipping on the floor.

Wasn't planning on 'meeting' at the race track, the trip would be from the UK to the track and back.

:)

Well said lad. It ain't the destination, it's the journey. And I giggle at the thought of a road trip with you degenerates!! I sense a journey of EPIC proportions in the offing. Starring to get the whimmies in my tummy already, every time I think about this trip!!! Thanks lads, for giving me something to look forward to!!
