I went out yesterday mate,
My first ride ever on my new RSV R 06 (except riding it home in freezing rain :unhappy)
It was amazing - took some getting used to as only had 4s up to now. Must get some tank grip as i kept sliding forward on braking - brakes are brilliant.
Saw an RC8, R1, 3 GSXRs and a GS - we were all nodding like crazy, chuffed to bits with the weather but all riding seemed a bit rusty after the long winter.
Had to get used to some of the roads too - damaged after the freeze and still covered in shiiite. But sections were really good up around Balmoral.

Ok I've been out today went to Worcester then back to Evesham then onto Stratford-upon-Avon then back to Evesham and home bike performed flawlessly, started without hesitation or any pausing every time.....NICE... only thing I did notice though sometimes changing up into 5th or 6th if you don't give it a right good boot it sometimes dosn't engage and goes into a kind of false neutral..........got used to after a while though and made sure I gave a good positive shift each time and it didn't happen again.
I might try lowering the shifter pedal a notch and see if I fair better with that as mebe I'm not giving the full travel it needs.........
Another thing to report is that I think the front showa's are a bit too soft for my liking so an oil change is on the cards soon with heavier oil if that don't work its off to K-Tech for some stiffer springs..........
Well todays rideout was really weird ........does any1 have those days when it seems like every1 is going the opposite way too you??????? I was trying to find a sportsbike or 2 too have a bit of fun with but every1 was either turning off or coming towards me :dunno
Will get back out tomorrow and see if I can find someone up for a bit of a blat if its nice.......:biggrin
