Nice and sunny here in Worcestershire gonna go out for a good blast today and get practice in............expect to quite a few bikes out today :biggrin although I'll probs get overtaken by a few GS riders LOL

Ok I've been out today went to Worcester then back to Evesham then onto Stratford-upon-Avon then back to Evesham and home bike performed flawlessly, started without hesitation or any pausing every time.....NICE... only thing I did notice though sometimes changing up into 5th or 6th if you don't give it a right good boot it sometimes dosn't engage and goes into a kind of false neutral..........got used to after a while though and made sure I gave a good positive shift each time and it didn't happen again.
I might try lowering the shifter pedal a notch and see if I fair better with that as mebe I'm not giving the full travel it needs.........
Another thing to report is that I think the front showa's are a bit too soft for my liking so an oil change is on the cards soon with heavier oil if that don't work its off to K-Tech for some stiffer springs..........
Well todays rideout was really weird ........does any1 have those days when it seems like every1 is going the opposite way too you??????? I was trying to find a sportsbike or 2 too have a bit of fun with but every1 was either turning off or coming towards me :dunno
Will get back out tomorrow and see if I can find someone up for a bit of a blat if its nice.......:biggrin

I went out yesterday mate,

My first ride ever on my new RSV R 06 (except riding it home in freezing rain :unhappy)

It was amazing - took some getting used to as only had 4s up to now. Must get some tank grip as i kept sliding forward on braking - brakes are brilliant.

Saw an RC8, R1, 3 GSXRs and a GS - we were all nodding like crazy, chuffed to bits with the weather but all riding seemed a bit rusty after the long winter.

Had to get used to some of the roads too - damaged after the freeze and still covered in shiiite. But sections were really good up around Balmoral.

Took mine out for a first real ride of the year yesterday as well, rusty to start off with roads were still abit cold and kept going in corners in a higher gear but after half an hour and 40 odd miles i was back in full swing, though still had to be carefull as there was **** over the road in places. I passed through Stratford-upon-Avon we were going to stop but my uncles fireblade(after being at honda for the last 2 months with no end of problems and most of his gearbox and bottom end replaced An2009 model as well) decided to flash enginemanagement and HISS warning lights about 4 miles out and when we got to stratford it cut out so decided to get in straight back to honda. For anyone wanting to get a quickshifter dont as thats where all his problems stemmed from.

Went out today aswell not quite as warm & sunny as yesterday but warm enough for a good spin up :thumbup

And so came across a couple of gixxers down the bypass sittin in the layby just gettin ready to pull out... went past did the nod and got to the end....nothing...nada ...zilch...... where are they go round the bout back down bypass and there they are comin towards me damn too soon......anyways a little whiles later......(bear in mind now I have about 6 hours on this mille under me belt now) coming down a bypass too a roundabout I see a Black Yammy looks like an R1/6 and he's tryin to get knee down........whahey here we go anyways I thought he was comin round to turn off..but no goes right round and back up the bypass ....eyes turn.......throttle on....lets see what this red Rsv can do.......that portion of the bypass is a constant left hand sweeper about a 3/4 mile in total.....With my *** slightly off the saddle I dumped the gears in quick succession and took im on the outside in 5th at around 110 ......game over bye R6/1 didn't see him again today.......shame :thumbup.......BTW thats was 110 KMH LOL :dowhat
