Leaving the bike for 1 week would this be of any help??

Hmmm, quick question. Where the bike is being left, is there a skylight/window? Just curious as to how you are going to get light to the solar panel???

I'd say save your money and either pop both the 30amp fuses or disconnect the battery and pop it on an Optimate if you are worried. Although for a week, I can't see a disconnected battery losing much of its charge to be honest :thumbup

Ill be camping so it will be outside. and charging with an optimate might be dificult, but you might be right a week it should be ok.

More confused now. Do you mean you are taking the bike with you???

If so, won't you be riding it during TT week? :D

My mate has a boat and he uses one of these for his battery maintenance. (For obvious reasons)

Never heard of him complain of a flat battery so must be OK.

Sure are, my mate does have to clean off the bird **** from the sea gulls though. It stops working when they crap all over it.
