Does it not have a cut-out in it? Mine do. Get in touch with him as, in my experience, he's a top bloke who will do anything to make sure his customers are happy. He'll probably mill a slot in for you or send you some others.
 
no cut outs... thought they may of been slimmer to get around the problem... iv just e-mailed him... lol !!
 
he said hes going to send out some with the cut outs... shame... i thought this was what i requested in the beginning !? :biggrin

Everyone makes mistakes but it's how they rectify the problem (i.e., when they've already got your money) is when real customer service shows. I had a query with mine and was pretty impressed with his response.
 
finally got mine today, my fault for not being in the first time they delivered them. Mine do not have cut outs either! Grrr
 
as said above the bloke is quick to come back and customer service is very good. Maybe worth someone asking him about site discount!
 
iv had no response since last friday... wondering if hes gone to the T.T. ?? :eatcorn
 
he rang me yesterday afternoon. Got an email reply yesterday too. I'll see if his number is still on my phone
 
still no contact... phone keeps ringing & iv 3 unanswered e-mails going back to 6th june !! :angry

I crashed on a set of these on monday.. only a little lowside.. but they really saved the bike and are still useable
top marks from me

yeah mate, no real damage done, tweaked my ankle a bit... imo crashing is over rated....
tried it a few times now.... lmao
 
oh yeah he can talk! The tubes were on strike. I'm trying to dash from pavement to opposite pavement to talk to my bus drivers, i've got buses full of people, loads of people shouting at me cos the buses aren't running like they should and me saying okay mate, got to go i'm a bit busy. Take the hint!
 
Got a package this morning. bear in mind I already have a full set of the ones without the cutout!! The package contained a pair of the plastic heads with cutouts...............

And a full set of bungs with cutouts!! I'm thinking his business needs a bit of reorganising!! I wanted the plastic heads and was gonna send back the ones I have. To send back all the stuff I've been sent that I don't need is gonna cost me about £6!! I'll have to ring him later and see what he wants to do. I'm honest but not honest enough to give away £6 cos someone else made a mistake.
 
Just spoke to him. He doesn't want them back so I have a spare set with cutout bungs or without- do we have a site raffle or something? I'd feel bad giving them away free or making any profit off them.

RSV Twin, it sounds like yours are going in the post this morning. Just think how much more profit he could make if he was a bit more efficient!!
 
cool... he said by the time he got hold of me... i had missed the postman on friday... so would be going out on monday !! :thumbup

apparentley he's just sending out the nylon bits with cutouts... he was saying that it only costs him £2.83 for a 3m length or something... its the CNC & bolts that cost £'sssss !! :biggrin
