Send him the link to this thread mate and post it on all the bike forums you can, that'll teach him to fcuk with his customers. :jack

How about raising a civil action against him for supplying defective goods?

In fact **** him, go legal mate £89 is £89 after all and I hate tossers that don't look after their customers.

Go get him tiger!!

Nice. Does paypal come from your credit card? if so can they do anything?

i'm in fear now as my slave cylinder is a ceepeedee one. not had any dramas tho.

If i can just work out the technicalities i will become a UK distibuter for the MPL products and will look after you.

I just sent a Ducati slave back to MPL that leaked. (3 years old and nothing to do with me, favour) and they turned it around in the Libech factory the same day.(no cost)
The support is there from MPL but nobody seems to have the balls to take on the Fcukwits on Ebay etc and sell the bloody things over here (beleive me i've tried to set this up with people)

So i'm gonna do it myself all being well and i should be able to do a pretty good price on the slaves etc.

There is one hurdle that needs to be crossed that may scupper it which is nothing to do with MPL and lots to do with Uk taxation and i'm waiting for info from my accountant which will make or break it.

It won't make piss all money really but it just eats me up reading about half brains who just take the piss. How hard is it to sell a bit on Ebay and take it back and get it repaired/refund if it's duff. :dunno
I sell loads on Ebay and you live and die by trust/feedback

Fcuk me (i don't usually swear) i despair. Here's me struggling to earn a living and some **** for brains has good people willing to pay him money and he turns them over. Do you think it narks me ? too kin right it does. :rant

And relax

Areessmill, werent you the one who got the 90pounds deal from MPL, why buy from ceepeede?

I wanted to buy from him to, but he didnt respond when I asked him from what manufacturer the slave is.

Sorry to hear that Tim - can you maybe have it looked at by an engineering firm to see if summat can be done to sort out the leak? (Considering you have it now and can't sort it with the ****** who sold it to ya).

I've bought from Spoonz (Colin) and the deal was done very quickly and painlessly (bought yer top yoke matey) so will more than happily recommend ya.

danglee :thumbup

I originally bought a Ceepeedeee slave and awaitied 3 weeks for confirmation of sale etc I then received the unit and 4 days afterwards it leaked. I emailed ceepeedeee and they said send it back. I had instigated Paypal as I didnt trust the seller. I sent the unit back as per instructed by Paypal with proof of delivery. I sent the tracking numbers to paypal and whilst on my trip to the TT, paypal emailed me saying that the tracking numbers were wrong ans thus have closed the claim.
Whilst all this bollocks was going on I ordered an MPL unit and received it in under 2 days!! but this unit leaked aswell. So i sent it back and they refunded it straight away!!

I am not going to let this **** of a seller get a way with it.

ps I negotiated a deal with MPL for 90 quid all in for the Zone guys.

Hello Tim me old mucker, Had the same problem with mine but i bought it direct from MPL. I was told they had a bad batch of O rings from a supplier. It has to be said I had no problem with the reponse from MPL over the repair and Uli and the team sorted everything as soon as they could. As your on first name terms with the staff at MPL have you asked them for their point of view, after all they are the manufactuer. Maybe they should look at their (crap) agents because this sort of stuff isn't going to do their rep any good. As Mr spoonz said it's **** heads like your seller that fcuk it up for everybody.
Good luck and keep me posted.

My understanding is that MPL don't manufacture the slaves themselves, it's outsourced. MPL office is about 250 miles from the factory where they are actually machined. MPL don't employ any manufacturing staff themselves.
i think Ceepeedee may have tapped into that source and have nothing to do with MPL at all.

I did mention them to Uli once and he stated they were beyond MPL's control. Their pricing on Ebay was creating waves at the time as i think they were mega cheap. Too cheap for them to have been sourced from MPL if the trade prices i have are correct.
