Just bought an RSV...

Yep, spotted that, but I'll be picking the bike up this weekend. TBH I've done my time riding in **** weather; I don't mind the cold, but I'm really not that keen on getting soaked, and the weather this weekend is looking pretty ropey.

Enjoy!

Don't you go and mistake me for someone that rides in the rain mate, if it's wet my bike stays in the garage. :eatcorn

If the weather does miraculously change for the better then meet us up at the Esso in Dartford on Sunday morning, will be a good turnout weather permitting.

So good you did it twice eh ? :biggrin welcome to you too orkster :thumbup

Well I finally picked the bike up. It's a wee bit scruffy, and the front brakes are binding slightly, but nothing a weekend in the shed won't sort. Not bad for £1600 though.
If it ever stops fkin raining I might even have a go on it:banghead

Hmm...Been having a tinker in the shed while the rain continues to pour down (still haven't ridden it...). You know, clean the chain, service the brakes, etc., and I've found the suspension settings are all over the shop.

The rear shock is a decent Maxton jobbie with high and low speed compression adjustment. It was set with no static sag whatsoever, and the rebound damping wound down too far. Must've been interesting for the former owner, seing as he's considerably lighter than me.

Anyone got a c-spanner I can borrow, seeing as I left mine under the seat of my old bike:banghead
