IT's not what's missing fella, it's what arrived. IT's now 19 months old and is my world. Stops me reaching and finding that limit that makes it a 'buzz' .... Hey don't get me wrong, when i am out riding with the lads, we don't get passed by bikes, being all ex/current racers we can all ride a bit... but i keep it a bit more sane nowdays.

Is everyone happy with their Tuono

Well of course. Got it december 09. Only done 400 miles.

Mind it is my second bike.

A lovelly Kawasaki ZRX1200s sits in the shed with the T.
This really is a doo all bike. Went to France on it last year and going again this year.
The Tuono is very good but on a journey like the French trip I think the ZRX is better suited. Plus it returns over 50mpg. Has a big screen standard and is real easy to ride in and out of town.
The T is rather high geared and town work I need to slip the clutch a little.

Had a new Z1000 last year and got bored with it. It was mental but soul less.

The T well its Italian, spicey and looks the best. I got a black one so as to keep the speed down.
Even the wifee likes the looks of it.
So thats a plus.

Can't complain. Little things go wrong that don't happen with Japanese bikes, but they're minor and the payoff is that the ride is always fun on a Tuono. And the women love it.

Only had mine since august last yr, but love the buga to bits. Best bike I've ridden so far. Had to re-set the service light a few times for no apparent reason, but fingers crossed thats been it. I love it about as much as a pair of inviting warm wet lips.:yes

Nobist, I agree. Just looking at mine puts a smile on the face, riding it is a different story.

My brother in law appears dead against it, Bandit1250 rider, too many problems with electricals, not reliable. He reckons.

If so, who gives a ****, the styling, the noise, that engine. Superb and jealously gets you nowhere.

Sort of says it all really.

Bandit, very worthy, cheap fun, solid reliable etc.

Could almost be a Honda.

Which is another way of saying

DULL.

On my second

I had an 03 Racing for 3 years and 12K miles and have 11K mile on my 06 R. I get out most weekends (been out about 4 times this year even with the snow) and the bike is still as much of a thrill as the test ride I had before I bought the Racing.

So into my 7th year of T ownership and the only thing that I would swap it for is the new V4 model (and even then I'm not sure a V4 will compare to the twin).

The only niggles I have had on the 06 (none on the 03) have been the clutch slave seal going, slightly misting clocks and the continual rear brake bleeding but they don't put me off at all. I do a fair few trips and never worry about reliability. Most bikes have a few niggles anyway whatever the manufacturer.

Got my 05 used with 800 miles in 2007. Now have almost 11k miles. What makes me appreciate the T are the other bikes I ride. Go for a ride on a KTM Duke II then jump on the T and you will always love the T.

Love my T and my Triumph Sprint, but seriously thinking about picking up a Daytona 675. Would love to have a middle weight bike to flick around the twisties with and I love Triumphs and Aprilias. Rode a Daytona in November which unfortunately put this idea in my head that I have room in the garage for three bikes. WTF, I'm single and can afford another bike - I'm not taking the friggin money with me. Just keeping my eye open for a deal somewhere in the Southeast US.
