Having 2+ bikes is sadly not an option for me so I'd have to sell my Racing to buy another bike but I really can't think of any other that I'd sell it for? :thumbup

Anyone else feel the same way? :dunno

Love my tuono ..had loads of **** off it though since i got it , which had totally dampened my spirit, but i see the light !
best dam ride i ever threw my leg over , i seriously thinkin of pimpin it out !
By that i mean loads of carbon and a COMPLETE respray of something really unusual(dream) , i have a friend who will do it .
Just a bit worried that i would never sell it on when i have had enough of it lol.

I've had problems with mine too but when you've just been on a blast on a great road in summer you're like "******* hell, I love this bike!!" and you forget about the probs. :drool

I'd like a snazzy paintjob on my bike too but it'd be a shame to cover up all the beautiful carbon bodywork. Sometimes I think I should try and keep it standard (ie, easily removeable bling!) and other times I think "**** it, it's MY bike and I don't intend selling it anytime soon!" :thumbup

To be honest, Nope. I don't dislike the TUono but me and it have not bonded yet.

I think a lot of it is down to the previous bike the XT660 being so suited to the B roads i ride most often. THe TUono still for me was too much bike for these roads.

I've tried to personalise it and make it more mine with the gold PP TUning levers and a bit of carbon, this will hopefully make it feel a bit more 'mine'

I can't actually fault the TUono in any way... it's more me.

Time will tell. Currently there's very little choice other than keeping it due to lack of £1500 to buy a 950sm. HOwever if i had the spare cash currently... i think the Tuono would be gone.

I walked around the NEC bike show and after looking at all the bikes, there was only one which I really liked enough to think about test riding which was the SuperDuke "R".
Nothing else came close to my Tuono which just about sums it up.

now that is one machine i would consider buying.......if i was a millionaire

Mines not starting at moment, don't know what problems is but............. I'm lovin it, will get better when change cans, add a few extras to protect. Other than that, best naked I have ridden.

The first time I had a ride on one I knew I'd have one, one day! :yes

I saw a black2007 demo and liked it. I think it just hypnotized me . I took the wife to see and get her on my side(to buy). I took the eldest and this time looked around the shop.I saw the 55 plate factory Tuoldo and thought .... even better so I bought it.
A couple of non starts (alarm) so was disconnected and thats all. Starts ,runs and no trouble at all......brown connectors/relays/clock malfunction??//. Great bike.
I do all the messing and changing bits on my other bikes.
With the wife being the way she is I have time to play about with them.

Bought mine in October last year and have only managed a couple of hundred miles on it so far, but I'm well impressed.

Sports bike performance from an upright riding position, that'll do me!:cheers

I loved my Tuono so much I bought another one.

I had a problem with the Tuoldo - fuel pump link pipe blew - nothing serious but it was day 1 of our Euro tour, so I started looking for something else.

After 4 months of looking I bought a new factory.

Looking at this thread makes me think i just need more saddle time on it :)

Obviously not in the middle of winter... but seems i'm being a little harsh on the beast by not loving it more :)

I `ve just been out to the barn , bloody cold on fingers and nose but hell of a buzz zooming around. Feels like you`re in a glass ball rolling past everything....right,left straight on and away. A touch iffy on some side roads, wet ,slippy??
Glad to be back though. Trying to get between the radiator and the wall mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm toastie

i,m sure i saw yer bike there today mate, kept an eye on it to see who it was.........

but got cold and left, we got there about 11, ****** off to southport and back to the barn fer a brew about 2.30.

hot toddy and hot bath did the trick.

I left it in back corner of car park and went for a brew. I did see a red T leaving. 09 pm- plate. The guy had black hair and a moustache.

If you are looking for a new bike mog ...you would have to part with some serious £££ to get a bike as good as the Tuono! ....better to stick with it and get a second bike for scratching about on :thumbup

Wait till ya have a go on my ktm mog ...you'll want one !!

Weeksy lad, you need a good summer on the T. You obviously see something in your bike as you nearly flogged it but didn't. It aint a commuter mate, can do it but fook me, you know your bikes and I reckon you need to use it other than a get to work bike. I go to work everyday in my van, I love my VW BUT everyday I walk past my T [ollie] and that is why I go to work. Work hard , play hard.

Some drink, some sniff. Rubbish. Tell me a better buzz than a great day out on a motorbike with good mates. Tuono's ROCK. DOUBLE HARD.

The difference is, my commute isn't a plod down the M4. My commute is 17 miles of the best twisties in the area to be honest. IT's truely brilliant. So it's not a commute in the same way as some percieve it as.

Ohhhhh better... Hmmm a little place called Afan/Glyncorywg mountain biking Mecca.

Biking stopped being an adrenaline thing for me quite a while about. Pretty much the day i stopped racing. It's fun, it's enjoyable, but i ride that far inside my limits these days that the adrenaline is not a factor.

That is so ****** sad. Bikes should make you sooper happy. What can we do for ya ??? Something missin mate what is it ?????????????????????????????????????????????
