Hi all, I'm Rob and I live in Cambridge, UK. Here's a pic of my Tuono when it was new (September last year), although it's currently being repaired after a small spill in Feb. I'm also being repaired by a metal plate and a few screws :thumbdown hopefully be out again soon...

Hi from Shropshire..

I'm Keith and I'm an alcoho....*sorry...wrong forum*
I found this site via AF1....I have an 06 (which I bought in 07) TuonoR with a few nice bits & bobs on it..& most fixes done ('cept the clocks :banghead )
Always up for a ride out... :cheers
Noticed that there appears to be a few BARFers here...or is that just my imagination.... :thumbup

TIFA

I thought the guys from AF1 forum had you in rehab for that little incohol problem......

Cheers anyway mate. Good to see you on this site. It's not as 'busy' as AF1's site, but there's some good stuff here anyway. Plus some blokes from your neck of the woods (by that, I mean UK). So you''l probably find some more hoons to ride with here.

Cheers mate

Dave

Hi all, my name is Mike and I just picked up my first Tuono, and 09 Silver 1000R. So far have about 200 miles on it and I can't stop smiling, or thinking about riding it this weekend. Moving up from an 01 Bandit 1200S and looking forward to learning (and hopefully giving back) lots on this forum.

Hello Everyone, sorry I should have introduced myself before leaping into the posting.......My name is Nige and I am new to Aprilia, and am awaiting delivery of a Nero Diablo, but am not able to collect till late September early October which is a bugger cause will miss the summer, so am praying for a mild winter so I can still enjoy a few days good riding before the dreaded salt starts to be sprayed all over the roads. Been riding Italian bikes for a number of years now, Moto Guzzi and Mv Agusta, had a few of each but could not settle to them fully. I am hoping that the Tuono is going to be the long termer ! It seems to tick all the boxes for me.......roll on October !!!!
Is there anything I should look out for, or should know prior to launching myself up the road at warp factor.....I will be dropping down one tooth on the front sprocket, as have been advised, and will be fitting an Arrow system, but will run her in on map 1 with baffles in. Would this sound about right to you guys ? Any advice would be great...look forward to chatting, cheers for now

Hi guys im not a Tuono owner but do have respect for the model. Im always on the RSVzone as i ride a RSV mille r 2002 . I keep looking in on the site to see whats new so thought i would join. You never know i might make a change one day or even swap my pride a joy for the unfaired version :thumbup

Hi

Just picked myself up a 03 Tuono a grey one about a month ago and am just starting to bond with it starting to fully use its potential and handling :thumbup, the old wind blasts taking a bit of getting used to though, starting looking at bits and pieces for it first purchase radiator guards.

New Tuono rider

Good Afternoon, Olaf here, bought a 2007 blue / white Tuono last week, first twin & so far I am impressed. Had the same streetfightered slabbie gixer 1100 for 16 years on & off. Could not bear to part with it so loaned it to my brother. Seen all the usual Tuono mods being discussed. I intend to change the front sprocket (came free with the bike) Does it make that much difference ? Dont think I will bother with the noisy cans, I prefer to go fater not just make more noise. Might try flat bars instead of the standard ones, I prefer to get over the front wheet a bit more, anyone tried these ?
