Hi All,
Just wondered if anyone has had any experience of this particular fault - "Intake pressure low signal"?
My T is running just fine and the only noticeable difference is a slight burbling and popping on the overrun when shutting off the throttle - other than that it's running beautifully.
Problem is that the service indicator comes on and stays on about a min after the bike starts up, together with the wee red warning triangle in the top right of the dash. I took the bike to my local friendly dealer to get them to plug in the diagnostics check, and they came back with the above fault code.
Seems it's the pressure sensor in the air box that is responsible for the fault, and Aprilia are asking a cool £175 for a replacement.
I've stripped out the sensor and checked the two wee pipes that feed into it, one from each throttle body - and everything looks fine. No dirt or perishing rubber"¦ ?
Anyone had a similar fault before, and was it indeed the air box pressure sensor that was the problem?
In the meantime the weather has been far too nice to let the bike sit in the garage so I've been blasting out and about, beginning to quite like the burbling and popping going on behind me as I let the engine slow things down a bit for the oncoming corner"¦ )
