looking at bar end mirrors again, decided to buy, but dont know what size the inside of the bar is, seen mirrors with 13 mm and 18mm threads... someone help a brother out!!!
 
IIRC,the h/bar end i.d is 16.5mm.(18mm thread)

I'm confused pal,...I just dont know what you are measuring to get 13mm.:dunno
The diameter of the threaded bar end weight (item 6) is 16.5mm.
 
blimey bit of a saga this is !!! -- bought some bar end mirrors for my gs1000 a couple of years ago from china ( oreron copies ) and they came with 2 sleeve sizes 1 for fat bars and 1 for standard jobbies -- fitted with no drama
 
didnt really measure, the ones i ordered were 18 mm, and too big for the hole so presumed 13 mm !!
 
no 6 is the threaded mount for the bar end weight. i would remove this , but can be real tight as i found out when fitting heated grips . then the bar end mirror complete with the new bar end will slide straight in . this is assuming that the mirror you have bought are oberon type .
 
Ar, yer see, these are 7/8ths....
