My immobiliser has started playing up as per others on this forum, i.e. engine sometimes won't start, sometimes won't stop, FI relay clicking when off, etc etc.
I've cut it in half and re-touched the soldering which has made the problem less frequent but it's still there. I've decided to replace the immobiliser.
My question is, if I buy a second hand one is there a way of making it 'virgin'? I know that you can use the blue key to add keys to an immobiliser if you already have one coded key, but can you clear its memory and start again?
I've searched on here and other forums but can't find a definite answer to this.
Thanks in advance.
