Where do you buy a Renegade Airbox kit from then laddies,

Talking to a bloke today who says this is a must have add-on:thumbup

Also told me Blueflame exhausts where pants:eek:GREAT!!!

A few of his mates have had them on their bikes, and apparently the link pipes break:dunno

And also while I'm rambling on, where does the steering damper fit on (Can't seem to find the holes, but then that's nothing new:jack)and how easy are they to set-up:dunno:confused

Some pics would be good as I am Blind:biggrin

the Sd fits in front of the top yoke, right behind the head lights.
cheers Ck

Right Dad,

I can endorse the 'must have' about renegade airboxes. I bought one recently and love riding without earplugs in just to hear that induction roar - and I do mean roar! There is a school of thought that says, because you throw away your airbox and basically fit just a filter over your intakes, you miss the benefits of ram air. Think what speed ram air becomes effective and you decide.
They are expensive though. There's another member who made his own. He had some plans and photos then came and checked out mine. Next time I saw him we were riding together without earplugs in with silly grins on our face.

The noise man :doug got to be heard to be appreciated for sure and making your own is far cheaper but it will take you quite a while to fettle it :roll

This airbox really snorts some big air and just what the mille needs together with a 16 tooth sprocket so im told but im going to fit that this weekend :doug:thumbup

When mine arrived in the post I was trying NOT to let the wife know but guess who answered the door to the postman? Anyway, I got the usual question, "what is it, do you NEED it?" The next question got me, "how much?" Not wanting to lie I told her and her next statement reduced mt to gales of laughter - "What, you paid that much for a box of air?"

And some musical pipes to accompany the air section :laugh:laugh:laugh:laugh

Thanks for the replies, If possible can someone send me a pic of the steering damper in position, just so I can see where it fits, RSVR06 did say that it went onto the standard fittings.

I'm not thick, Honest:jack:thumbup:confused:dunno:biggrin

if i was to fit a renegage airbox would you need to do anything with the fueling side off things or would it run perfectly ok on standard settings plus is it easy to fit myself as quiet handy?
