I couldn't wait and it so happened that the Spanish Aprilia Club planned a ride-out yesterday Sunday.. so, what a better opportunity.

We were 3 rsvr factory (one of them a nice nice 2-month black rsvr with the golden frame/rims) and 3 tuonos (well and 2 ducati monster, and a gsxr..hehe).

Cans sounded fantastic, specially when passing under a tunnel, or being stopped before a traffic light. The rsvr wanted to rev up faster and loved to remain there, at higher revs. I don't know whether is beacuse of the map2 adjustment or the cans or both things, but she works now better to me.

With this and the problem of the cluth fluid degradation already solved, the bike is now fully OK. :T

Took my new Arrow cans out for a test the other day. Sound very nice but can't decide whether they are a bit too loud in town. May put the baffles back in to see what it runs like.

Did around 100 miles on map 1 and experienced what seemed like fuel starvation when at highish revs, neutral to trailing throttle then opening the throttle again. Popped into the dealer and had it switched to map 2 and the last 40 or so miles seemed so much smoother. Strangely enough it didn't seem quite so loud either? Maybe my hearing had automatically closed off that frequency range!! Need another ride now to get a better appreciation of the pipes/map 2 then I might try it with the baffles in to see what it sounds/runs like.

Bet your weather is a lot better than ours Sergi! Looks lovely in your photo.

Nice one sergi :thumbup thats a lovely blue sky there, and bet its nice and warm too . And dave you sure have got some loud cans there if there anything like rsvr47's :doug

yes, weather was very sunny yesterday (about 12-15ºC on midday) and...ahh I forgot.... (besides the akras)..... people were amazed with my new rsv-zone t-shirt :biggrin:biggrin:biggrin:biggrin:biggrin

Where are you in the pic or are you the one taking the pic :eatcorn Iether way it looks like you had lot fun . Looking forward to our spring summer rideouts over here in sunny UK :doug

just in front of the car, at the right side of the one with the white helmet on (at his left side)... yes I enjoyed the rideout, these people ran very fast (difficult to got beat....) :biggrin

I see you now :thumbup all smiles and getting a sun tan thrown in as well , not like here with frost bite :roll Still its clear and sunny in the day and most enjoyable for an hour or so , then stop and warm the hands on the exhaust :laugh

now that you're talking about warming your hands on the exhaust, I realize that these cans don't get as hot as the original titanium ones. I usually put a cover on the bike after each rideout (for preventing her from dust and from the eyes of everybody as well) but I usually had to left the exhausts uncovered (the cover got burned several times due to heat from the exhausts). However, when coming from the rideout yesterday, I stopped the bike, got the locks closed and after that (let's see 5 minutes), cans were not hot!!! so I could fully cover the bike. Have I lost my hands heater?? :biggrin

I found that too sergi, i slipped my standard can on and went for a blast today and found it very warming to the hands :thumbup With the Akra's they dont seem to run as hot. Ive noticed the frame rails get warm as well :thumbup
