What part of the uk are you from fella, how long have you been waitin for your bike and is it a APRC. Hope u hang around the zone as there does,nt appear to be many lads bothering with the V4t this year at least. am sure it will get busy on this part of the zone as time goes by.

I didn't need to wait for mine, walked into George Whites in Swindon, a week ago last Saturday, they had an APRC in a crate, I went for it, and picked it up Friday. Stuck 300 more miles on it today to try and get the first 600 mile service done ASAP. Loving every moment of it.

Im down in southampton mate, yes its the ARPC and ordered my 1st one about 2 months ago, after a month found out there was a **** up on aprilia,s side so had to reorder,i found i had to do a lot of the work myself, you got to push the dealers a bit they seem to get a bit laidback like the italians.
Yeah ill be hanging about here, its very quiet on the rsv bikers oracle site i go on, the only talk on there at the mo is the double trackdays a group of us has booked,so gotta get the tuono run in in a week or so.

I could have done the same a month ago from Motosport in Wareham if i wanted black

this make me think that puttin down a deposit early is a waist of time if they are on the shop floor where the *** is mine. The gritters will be out up here soon. Fukin champion

Aha, I wanted black, but wanted any V4 more than I wanted to wait so took the silver one they had and have spent the last week grinning instead of waiting. I can understand others preferring to wait for their favourite colour tho', I just couldn't be arsed !

When you chaps get your v4s ... will you still play with us twins?

Hang on ... that's a recurring line out of my fave dream!

Has yours turned up yet Pia. Your dealers must be at the bottom of the Aprilia preferred network.

Not been here for a few weeks as mine turned up for collection 3 Jul. First yellow in the UK and it's run in already.

Ye-*******-haaa!!!!

NO, not much i can say. How much was the 1st service? a mite try and get mine for free coz of the wait.

Oh mate I'm really sorry to hear you haven't got yours yet. The Aprilia factory closes down for a month any day now for it's summer break so I hope yours has been shipped and is in the network. I'm sure it is.

I got my first service free as the dealers (who were a 150 mile round trip from me) tried to get me to take the bike without the APRC calibrated as they couldn't do it. They said they suspected a speed sensor failure. I told them to **** off, no one in their right mind accepts a £12k faulty product. Turns out they had been using the wrong speed for the calibration so it wasn't working. They only realised that after I emailed them the link to the calibration page in the user manual when I got home. Total ******* muppets! It was ready the next day. As I had to get the train (more travel costs) they gave me a full tank of fuel, an AirItalia WSB t-shirt and the first service free.

The Arrow is great. Not much louder than standard, a heck of a lot lighter and it looks OK. It's not my first choice of can but it was a good deal and I hate the Akky. It's just too long.

Have you tried contacting Piaggio UK about a delivery date? I'd be spewing if I were you and pushing for a discount or freebies for the bike as well as a foc first service.

So the wait was worth it then pia... Enjoy mate. Still, can't say I like the yellow.

Owners manual states 7500 rpm max for the first 621 miles mate. Don't waste that extra 1500 rpm as you have the aural delight of the exhaust valve above 6000 rpm.
