I'm a late starter too. My passion with two wheels began for me when I was 19. A mate loaned me his Yammie 100. A week or so later, I had my first bike - a Suzuki TS 400 smoker.

Around a year and half later, came my GSX 750 (overweight and underpowered) which only lasted 3 months until I traded her on my GS1000G. I did everything on this bike. I commuted, raced my mates and toured - I even lived off it for two years while touring with a tent on the back. I sold it with 163 000km on the clock. It had KS Street Strokers, Wiseco 1085cc pistons and a pipe on it when I sold it.:bawling

After the GS came a forgettable GSX1100, with a couple of dirt bikes in between; including a Kawa 175, and a Honda XL350.

Then came an eight year long drought, broken last year when a mate offered me his '87 XL600R thumper for a song. A couple of months on the Honda made me realise I wanted, nay, I absolutely and desperately needed a new litre road bike.

March 2008, enter my new Italian passion: '08RSV Tuono R nero diablo.:love2

bike has full 2/2 akra syatem fitted and there is a crisp induction roar but i haven't lifted the tank yet to check if there is a suprise in there?

Since 17, missed 5 years when I went off roading in me early 30's. After loads of ropey rooks bikes a KH250 was me legal cherry popper.

Started at age 7. Dirt until just recently when I realized that I dont heal as quickly when I was younger. Loved it from day one. Started street riding at 16. Two major crashes and some track school and Im still here. I ache on a cold morning but when I do, I have the best memories of the days of yore. Gotten smarter with age but still havent grown up. Riding keeps me young at heart.
