How do I remove my 2003 T's front wheel

Bonus!!!

Phoned Motoliner this morning before sending the wheel. The £70.00 includes straighteneing, and powder coating the wheel. They said the wheel will come back ready to fit back on T. This includes delivery aswell and will be returned by Wednesday. Brilliant service!!

I will let you know if all is as good as they say when the wheel comes back.

I got Kwik Fit of all people to remove the tyre. Needed one on the car so they done it for nowt! The guy was a fellow biker! And he is goint to fit the new diablo Corsa I just ordered for nowt aswell....Get in.

He can't balance it though, will this need done after fitting or is it safe to assume that with the wheel newly straightened all will be well?

:dunno

You will need to get it balanced, otherwide you'll get double vision & destroy the bearings.

Speaking of which are Motoliner going to remove & replace your bearings? The powder coating requires baking in an oven and will destroy the bearings if they are left in.

I assume you are going to remove/replace your discs.

Bearings are still in the wheel....I hope all will be well. Will let you now the outcome.

The discs are off and lying inthe garage...Not replacing as they appear to be straight as a die....Should they be replaced?

by replaced - I meant put back on the wheel - sorry for confusion.

If Motoliner haven't told you to remove the bearing don't worry - they will most likely need them to re-align the rim, so I assume they will remove and replace (or re-fit?) them as well.

Nice one Paul.

I'm starting to think that you are half man half Tuono.

What do you think of the alleged Tuono V4? Have you seen the images?

I have seen the pictures. It isn't really the Tuono, it's just a cobbled together test mule for the factory to put miles on the V4 engine, test mapping etc. It's a bit of a dog really.

Personally my favourite feature of the Tuono is the fact it's a V Twin, I had a V four before I got my Tuono. I only had the V four for about a year, this is my second Tuono, and I am into my fifth year with them.

the new model Tuono is allegedly coming out in 2011, but I have seen rumours of a 1200cc V twin using a beefed up version of the Mana/Shiver Engine is also on the books :dunno

I'd prefer the beefed up version 1200 for the Tuono. I like the V-twin thing. The V4... ermmm, just wish that I didn't pop such wood for the RSV4.

I had a long look at an RSV4 Factory over in a local dealers a month or so back. It is ferkin TINY. I think it actually looks smaller than an R6. It is a beautiful bike, and if I get a lottery win I'll have one in my fantasy garage.

Back in reality with bumpy roads, speed limits and traffic to contend with, the 100+ rwhp & upright riding position of the Tuono makes it a perfect bike for yours truly.

I've sat on one and can confirm that they are fookin tiny. Not for the more 'stouter' men amongst us. Beautiful thing tho.
