Here's the cheeky monkey all installed.....

After a half hour blast I have to say this has been a brilliant modification to the bike...the midrange feels much more progressive & I think I've got a subwoofer installed under my tank...the induction roar is ridiculous...but fun!.... I would heartily recommend these to anyone with a Mille...cheers Hooked!:thumbup
 
I like that crankcase breather in red but if Craig sends me a red one for my blue bike I'm gonna throw a hissy fit. LOL

Hopefully collecting mine Saturday ready for the ride out Sunday. :doug
 
Can't wait to get back on the road and try mine out :dougglad your happy with the results :thumbup I take it you forgot my tip about the cloth under the plate when fitting the filter fasteners :biggrin

...must stop dragging my feet and get that MOT done :jack
 
Even Valentino approved...you can just see his kneeslider and top of his boots behind the bicycle wheels in the background....poor bugger having to put up with an ***** like me!

TBH I don't really care what colour it is as long as it stops all my oil spewing out over the filter and staining the side of my engine.

But BLUE would be nice Craig. LOL

So you have an oil 'spewing out' issue...what is that...my airbox had some oil in it when I took it off & had some in it 200 miles ago when I put the K&N filter in...so interested if this is a common problem!

They all do it mate, don't worry too much.

Some engines are heavy breathers, in as much as the crankcase fumes/oil mist finds it way up to the airbox. Not a major issue unless of course it's dumping boat loads of oil and needs topping up weekly.

Your new crankcase breather should sort that issue out anyhow.

Wow that's all a bit much,but what happens to the oil when it gets to the filter? Does it just disappear?:dunno

Nah, the filter and gauze will absorb it and it will simply drip back down the breather pipe and back in to the crankcase.
 
Looks really tidy, a big up to Hooked for making them, oh and Badboy, remove those **** like a good lad:puke
 
The excess oil isn't a major worry...just a ' if someone else is experiencing it...what do they think' kinda thing...Anyway if it happens with the new open box the oil should burn off nicely a'la Edwards on the RSV in WSB...look forward to it!
