Ive just become the proud owner of a Tuono ....got a new 08R in jaffa orange...got it from Speedaway MCs in Birmingham....anyone had any dealings with them?
Got them to do the map 2 and fit akra slipons...ive also fitted a K&N and irridium plugs.....Speedaway say they have set the bike up valve clearences-throttle boddies and latest Axione maps...at first service!!
Ive done about 1000 miles now but the fuelling from about 3-4000 is a bit questionable?
Ive bought a power commander but that needs some dyno time to set it up cos its still lumpy and since fitting the PC its lost its top end!! been onto PC UK HQ and in process of booking some time with an expert...anyone out there had the same issues?
Other than this ive not had any other issues with the bike...generally it handles better than anything else Ive ever had..incl VFR800,Blade-R1 Fazer,Bandit 1250 etc.
Will let you know how i go on with Dyno set up.
Cheers

Hi and welcome to the Zone Thor.

I have Akra slipons, and the fuelling on my T is immaculate with the OEM ECU.

Good luck on getting it right mate.

Cheers

When I got my PC3 I went to see Fusebox at Tamworth. Are you anywhere near him? Dyno'd, now rides like a dream. No more erratic running at 3K revs.

Hi Thor, same as Chunkylad. My black T was from Speedaway (Blackheath locals might object to being called Brummies!) Akros and mapping done by them at purchase 6 weeks ago. Had first service and smaller g/box sprocket. Goes well for me! Seems T's have variable
fuelling? or perhaps we're a bit fussy? Tad lumpy below 3000, OK above - but didn't buy it for that! Good luck, enjoy and wind it well past 3k!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
All that said, might be tempted if you get good results with PC and set up. Keep us posted?
