Hey everyone, thought I'd introduce myself as I'm new to these forums. My name's Russ, I have had a bike school in Nottingham for 22 years now and found I was getting bored with bikes until I got myself a Fazer 1000 a couple of years ago which rekindles the fun factor. The other week a Facebook friend posted pics of his new Tuono V4 which made my stomach turn, it was that beautiful. A bike hasn't made me feel that way since I bought the first CBR600 in Nottingham in 1987. Anyway, after exhaustive reading and thread reviews on the Tuono I thought I'd take a punt and ordered one. It will be here on Monday morning and I'm looking at doing a little review on first thoughts on my YouTube page "Roadcraft Nottingham"

I've already ordered the R&G tail tidy and a carbon Akropovic end can....and a matt black Schuberth C3....and an Icon contra jacket...and new gloves....

THIS BIKE BETTER BE WORTH IT!!!!!

Oh it is alright. I have a Gen 1 but they all share one common factor.........the grin factor ;)

Welcome by the way - roadcraft eh, like it :thumbup

Thanks STiX, I need grin factor and from what I've read, everyone loves it, but I'm a miserable git and expect the best from my purchases so we'll see. I recently bought a R1200GS because of what people were saying about it but couldn't get on with the vibrations and lumpy fuel injection mapping so ended up selling it, but not before alienating the "BMW Taliban" on their forums, they wouldn't have a bad word said against it lol.

I've decided on the name "Roadcraft" as that's what my school's called but when the instructor bib comes off I enjoy a good blast as much as the next man. :)

Will you use it to train on as well. Had a BMW r1200s, same engine but nine of the lumpiness Ure talking about. Loved it but no character and wanted more power

I use a honda pan European to train on so this will be a "blow the cobwebs away" bike for playing only. (without the instructor bib on) :thumbup

Nothing wrong with roadcraft roadcraft! I was trained by bike coppers :)

Welcome Rc, from what was written aboot the v4t from a very sceptical member of this forum I reckon yer gonae lurv it.

Hello Russ ...

Welcome to the special needs Dept

Don't listen to anybody on here apart from myth ... as none of us really exist

Had one for an afternoon,...its an incredible machine.I cant see anyone not enjoying the V4T.

My wife said I would'nt enjoy one

I want one too. But my fave's the silver & black. Got to wait another year unless I have one of my mad moments!!!

:sneaky2

My wife also said I don't need to change my bike. She's right I'll get one as a second bike instead one day. Gonna wait a few years though first. I can't find the limits of thus one yet

Well my wife said I could have one if we had the money.:banana

Problem is,.....yep,we dont have the money.:unhappy

Good thinking Bay. i Was only contemplating that after forking out on all the bits & pieces I have so far & still having a list for seat recover, Respring suspension front & rear& possibly Aprilia performance rear sets it would be silly to part ex so soon. However I could always keep the T & part ex the fireblade for the RSV4 Although It wouldn't be worth so much & I'd have to find about an extra 4K. :doug
