Hi have just got a 2000 millie sp,,advice please, cant seem to get neutral when engine running, switched off no problem,, other problem speedo dont work, it did till some dope pressed the buttons on dash,, coincidence,, not sure,, am waiting for workshop manual,, till then anyone got any ideas

neutral problem is probably clutch needs bleeding. It's a knack at the best of times!! try rolling it forward as you flick it to neutral until you get around to bleeding it.

For the workshop manual, take a look up the top of your screen and follow the link to the File Vault and download away :thumbup What has changed on the speedo front? The buttons will only switch from mph to kmh and back, show avg speed, top speed etc. Re the neutral issue, take a look at the reservoir and see what colour the fluid is and as the pieman says, it probably needs a bleed through. You can also order a new jet which will make getting into neutral easier. Good luck and enjoy.
