on phone so sorry its dodgy......in italy alps clocks got very wet took them apart dried them...no head lights or dash lights......flash button works for main beam...am i doomed and need new clocks or can i try any thing else??? bike runs fine atm lol thanks in advance
 
check fuses under seat. Headlights are one of the 5amp ones - Liz's used to blow them - stick a 20 or 25 amp in it. There are spare mini blade fuses in the fuse box as well.
 
thanks bay x batfastard....i have checked fuses all ok lights came on for 5 mins then went out again reckon cloclocks are buggeed water pored out!!!!! thanks spose i will have to get tourches lol
 
If the rear lights work just make sure someone is riding infront of you, good luck lady you are a better man than I:hail
 
I had something similar happen to me when up in ricoland after a couple of days of typical weather!! :pissright

The mainbeam stayed on and the service warning kept coming on, I sprayed WD40 onto everything electrical and it seemed to sort it...:bigsmile...hope you got sorted missy.:thumbup
 
Hello all....im back!!! well dash never recovered doh...but i just rode it without lights was no big deal still had the best time in Alps wow what a place for a tuono!!!!..............looking like the V4 tuono is on the horizon my mate took his brand new one, i rode it few times wow weee what a superb mental savage bit of kit its my next bike:thumbup it sounds just amazing, this one wasnt the electronic one with all the gay anti this n that on! who wants it lol

Sorry to say chuck but its ******. When you're next at home I'll pop round and take the bike off you, save you the bother. I'll give you Pennys cb125 to tie you over for now. Job done.
 
well my bikes all fixed, got secondhand clocks all ok........but with the help from griff, hes ace very helpfull, he didnt need to help either he just gave advice over phone with no gain to himself, very impressed:thumbup thank you very much x
