Isn't this thread a bit academic for most RSV owners who have never had a back brake? Before anybody tells me how to bleed the brakes, I know! I have a brake and a different way of bleeding it! lol

No seriously if you have too little free play when the brake fluid heats up the volume increases and you might brake even you would not want it - Same with the front brake, too little free play when you adjust it in the cold shed and sudden you have +30C and the situation is different the pads are "leaning" to the disc...
