Hi just bought an 06 Aprilia Tuono R . At last back on a V twin after a major digression !Had an 02 RSVR back in 06 but some thieving pond life stole it from the garage !!! Since then have had Ducati 900ss ,Honda Hornet 600,Suzuki TL1000S,Triumph Daytona 955,Triumph speed triple,Honda vfr 800.
Despite some good and some ok experiences I knew that I needed a V twin to light my candle again. Guessed the only way was the Aprilia way so managed to pick up a nice tidy example on a private sale . My god its good to be back !! Now it all starts again with the tweeks and odd and sods to make it mine .

Yeah aint that the truth ,bike has had a headlight changed so the other looks dull, know it will drive me mad so have ordered a new one to match.Watching cans on the bay cheeky bid gone in on pair of stubbier carbon ones that should look the part !

Thanks for the welcome, from just outside Durham .Got hold of private sale 06 Tuono R, managed to sell my VFR yesterday,free up more funds for trinkets for the Tuono !

pass through that way quite often as i come from Horden, is your T a blue and white one and were you in the Peterlee area on saturday morning mate?
 
if yer moddin anything Saggy min...numero Uno is slappin 15/42 sprox on (assumin the previous loon hudnae done it already)....sorts oot the lumpy action at lower speed an low revs big style an fairly "livens" up the beastie somewhat as weel!.

An one o ma favourite and maist effective mods ahv done tae mine has been addin mirror extenders ( so ye can spot the plod behind ye easier instead o a view o yer shooders)
 
No mate its black will keep eye out for you in the area, guy that used to run Hornet forum ran a Tuono he was from hetton

just wondering as i spotted a blue and white one in Peterlee that i had not seen before, keep an on the where next thread for the next run out mate.
