I think theres a locking nut on there so loosen that 1st mate. :thumbup

Rebound is done on the knurled ring at the bottom of the spring, compression is done on the reservoir and ride hight is adjusted by the nut by the lower shock mounting. Oh and the adjuster at the top of the spring is for the preload.

Thank you!

It feels odd to be a newbie asking simple questions. There wasn't much I didn't know about my old Z750 and I was often answering questions on the Zed forums so I guess it's my good karma coming round that I've found you lovely lot. ;)

The great thing is this forum is very active with a lot of clued up guys. That height adjustment wont give radical differences in ride height tho and will probably affect the handling a tad. My advice would be to adjust a little at a time.:eatcorn

Good advice above. You need to put the bike on a paddock stand and then take a measurement to something like the bottom of the number plate. I was advised with the Ducati to raise the height about 10mm to start and then go up in 5mm increments. If you go too much in one go it will drop into corners VERY quickly but can also loose straght line stability. All depends how you like your bike to feel.

Haven't fiddled with this bike at all as the roads have been so ***** on all but one ride I couldn't really get a feel for the bike.
