Anyone know if the 2007/8 Tuono R has a flat/straight beam or a left dipping one? I just bought the Tuono and will be using and registering it in Germany, If it has a dipping unit (left for UK / right for EU) I'll have to get replacement headlights, whereas if it's flat, I won't. Can' use deflecting tape as you can in the UK MOT for German Tuv.

If it's a deflected beam, anuyone have or know of a right-dipping set for sale? perhaps from an import that had its lights changed. Long shot but you never know ...
Cheers

Hi RV, Don't quote me on this but....the blue and White Tuonos ( which I have for sale by the way) are suitable for use anywhere in the world without any adjustment. PM me for more info!

And they're faster, and better looking, and handle better....

But I'm not biased.

Can someone just point their bike at their garage wall or door, about 3 meters away, with their lights on 'dipped' and tell me if it delects left or right, or not at all?
Many thanks.

Now theres a thought. Good thinking rv. No point me doing it as my bikes older. Thought RICO had a problem
With his facing right on dipped and he thought they'd made a mistake in factory. Might be worth a pm to him

UK bikes have left dipper h/lights.For Euro headlights, try Ebay Germany.(seeing as you are in ze Farzerland)
Loads of stuff on there.

Thanks. Bugger, so they do deflect according to country, that means buying some. Yes, I'm already on the case with Ebay Germany. Not much on at the moment, but will keep trying .... and Ebay Belgium/Holland/France .....

You can adjust the Gen 2 headlights, by quite a bit. Mine came from the factory set up far too high and to the right. I was forever getting irate car drivers flashing me.

I don't know if you could adjust UK lights *far* enough to the right to make them useable (or legal) in Germany, but may be worth a try before shelling out for new lights.
