Griffs coming to Portsmouth!!

I have been speaking with the Griffmeister who said he will come down if we get enough people interested in a service, tb sync or similar...

So I know gregorious77 is wanting a TB sync as well as myself.

Could use my garage in Southsea for the tinkering, so who's in need of work to their bike?

Should be a good laugh also, I'm a 5 min walk from the sea front.. so fish and chips and a photo of all the bikes at the end of the day would be good!

So who is interested?

I may be mate, currently living in Southampton. Been struggling to find somewhere to take the bike after some iffy work/quotes/service I've recieved down here. This could be ideal.

What sort of dates are you looking at? I'll see what I need done, assuming I can get a quote off the great man before commiting?

Have enough room for 3 bikes to be worked on at the same time in my garage but and usually spaces to park down my road and on he sea front.

Not sure on dates yet. Would like to do it before march, ill wait for more interest and find a sate that suits all. Idealy for me needs to be a saturday or sunday..

Just the TB for me as I dont have a gas analyser and definitely dont trust the local cowboys to touch the bike!
We need to get some prices of course and not do it in the snow!
We could fill the viewpoint with Millies too!!.

yeap, put me down on the list. Mine could do with a service, ideally valve clearance, A TB sync and flipping to map two as i'm getting fed up of the engine management light intermittently flicking on with the Bazzaz.
 
Possibly 4 so far then, looking promising! How many miles you done on yours smemly? Is ir a rsv4?

Personally, i've not done enough. i spent far too much time last summer working and too little time riding. The bike is an early RSV factory which i bought the year before last, i think it has about 17,000 miles but it's hard to tell due to clocks resetting.

It's in the for sale forum at the moment but didn't get any interest. So unfortunately i'm going to have to keep it :)

you live in Southsea and not been to the ninth hole????? They do a mean fish finger doorstop sarnie as well

It's at the putting green just down from the tennis courts and the park
 
Lol nope unfortunately not.. will check it out when it opens up again.. our dogs usually make a b line for it lol.. my gf's mates aunt owns the place..
 
I,d be in, need the valves checking, TB's, co's done, good check over etc.:thumbup

Think we have enough now for a days work lol and I only have a single garage.. if the weather is good could remove fairings etc on the road and put them inour back garden..

I have pm'd griff not sure how much could be done I a day.. what are you looking to have done?
