Got out on bike this wkend

hey am pretty new to here got an rsv mille at begining of month and first chance to get out on it for the wkend. all i can say is wow totally blew me away, had a smile on my face ear to ear

awesome !!!!!!!

just one thing the clutch is pretty noisey is this normal ???

yeah i can't hear mine either. exhaust just drowns everything out. chuffin lovely.

Mine rattles like a ****, told by Griff just needs re tensioning. Good buy though mate I never regret buying mine.

I guess mine must need doing as well then, it rattles when disengaged and on tick over. As soon as you engage the clutch it stops. Sounds like a common character (sounds better than fault!) on early models. Another thing to add to my list for when it gets griffed!

The clutch baskets are noisy on them.

What needs to be retensioned then?

Griff explained it but cant remember exactly what he said, something along the lines of loosen the clutch basket turn it to re tension then tighten back up.

Glad you like the Mille mate - just wait till the summer!
My clutch is pretty quiet - at least compared to my mate's 996.
