So..Decided I need to slow down a bit, (Lot) out early this morning, decided to go see a Military exhibition that was on, all going fine, riding quickly but reasonably, but as the morning wore on just got quicker and quicker till had my loon head on..Seriously need to rein it in..

How do you class all your riding? must add, keep it down in 30's and 40's..So am reasonably sensible..

£27 in petrol today also and the fuel lights on again..these RSV's love the juice..

loon head in the right places,if i can see its clear and no busy junctions/paces for plod to hid, then it gets the beans, lol.
must admit tho,im very cautious these days, compared to 2000 when had my r1,mostly cos of all the stories of sneaky plod in horse boxes/decorating vans ect.really do feel theyre out to get us,and i value my lisence/bike to much!
also prefer riding alone for the same reasons, not attracting the rozzers by being in big groups.
ive been out riding all day,had 3 pull out on me,2 cars cut me up(bye bye car wing mirror) and past 2 roadside speed trap vans and 4 unmarked cop cars as well as 3 police bikes.
that was just going through castleton/hathersagebakewell/matlock/crich/eyam.
the cop hassle has tripled in the last 5 years or so,and bad drivers seems to have quadrupled.

Too true..I ride far more for myself when I'm on my todd..But those areas you've been to are a magnet for cops, which is why I headed for a 'Nice' family event as the cops leave them alone..

Bad drivers? I blame the revenue raising cameras..people are so afraid to creep over the limit, they've lost the skills of driving..

Enjoyed my day though..

That could have been me writing that! When you read these forums we're all getting into the same mindset these days. Mind you, I do think slowing for the posted limits gives you time to realise how quick you are going when not in them. Bit like when you come off a long motorway drive and 70+ has started to feel like 30mph, the posted speed sections recalibrate your head to appreciate the speed you're doing when out of the limit.

On the A361 today heading down towards Banbury when a guy on what I think was a Blade or similar, white helmet, high vis jacket went the other way. Gave him the usual wave and then thought ignorant tosser when not so much as a nod returned. Got the distinct impression it was an unmarked police bike, keep those eyes peeled!!

theyre EVERY FOOKIN WHERE.
not bad is it when they get free new sportsbikes and get highly paid to do what we have to pay to do,whilst trying to con us and lure us into trusting em,meanwhile they have to answer to no one!
an idiot in mcn got fookd for speeding past a camera, sticking 2 fingers upto it and got prison, quite rightly, yet a copper in a cop car did the same a month or so ago,80-100mph past a camera,no blue lights on ect, sticking 2 fingers up and got a poxy fine, same as last week, flying cop car runs down a girl at silly speeds, kills her then tasered her distraught boyfriend ffs.
ridiculous imo.

ORFT....ORFU......one rule for them...one rule for us.

And remember these days it's a 'police state'.....be nice to Mr Plod or the 20 something year old will be off on a power trip and pull you regardless.....after all speeding is far more dangerous than dealing drugs....at least they get the 3 strikes rule :rant over
