Driving home from work 6pm rounded a bend on an unlit duel carriageway to find a herd of sheep running towards me being herded on by a farmer as they'd escaped from a field. Ploughed straight through middle of them killing a few outright and damaging my car to ****.

Police reckon I have to claim off farmers Public Liability insurance. Bloody hope so and glad I weren't on the Tuono at the time.:bawling

Hope you get your car sorted mate.

Good luck with the insurance claim mate.

Oh here we go all the sheep jokes now eh. But I guess EWE shouldn't cry over spilt milk. When I got out of the car and had to explain to the traffic copper what had happened I felt a little SHEEPISH but then again I MUTTON grumble as the car can be repaired.

Being welsh im sure you would've known a gang of sheep is a flock, not a friggin herd , you spent half your life embeded in the ******* things...

Sacriledge. U don't need mint sauce with welsh lamb. Its tender as **** and tasty as due to all the pounding ;)

Thanks guys... I near died feckin' laughing after having read this thread. The wife thought that I had lost it, so I had her read it. Never cracked a smile. So I read it again, and only 20 minutes later I have finally regained enough control of my bladder and wiped the tears from my eyes so that I can type my thank you...

Thank you.

Right just an update as I know you are all so worried about my car. Just had quote from Garage for the damage. £512 labour, £394.04 for paint. Thats nearly £1000 pounds before we look at parts. Now the parts list
Front Bumper
Lower Spoiler
Bumper Grilles
N/S fog lamp and bezel
Lower spoiler
Brackets
Fixing Clips
N/S front wing
Arch liner clips
Bonnet
N/S head lamp
Front Grille.

Now by my reckoning that got to be at least a £1000 worth of kit. Just a headlamp is £100, front bumber £250 (those prices are off ebay). Half a mind to just get the money from the insurance company and take it elsewhere.

Despite the frivolity, I truly am sorry you are being put through this. As someone who has dealt with animal strike, I can only say, be patient, and don't settle for the first offer. Good luck.

Fella its a car and I aint too worried about it. I really like my bike but if it got nicked and I never saw it again I'd get the money back and buy another one. Thats life. They're only metal. At least no one was hurt
