Poor Nob's 99% thread has, as BoB pointed out been hijacked.
So for anything goes babble - chat among each other, and to keep Nob away from the razor blades, we'll use this - If thats okay with the Boss's.:thumbup

Prob my fault, beein a newb to this forum and postin ride outs in there !!!

Sorry to all, me hands been slapped

Banned - I had a quick blast out at lunchtime just over to Barney but went via Frosterly then over the moors, loads of bloody salt on those roads, so won't be doing that run again for a while. To be honest mate, I think the days of getting out are numbered now

Went for a blast yesterday after the snow had melted... but the silly fuckers had been out with the sanding trucks already.... dammit. I almost rashed the good side! We'll have to get our Aussie brethren to allow us to live vicariously thru them this winter. Oh, and I just watched the Phillip Island GP today. AWESOME!!! Sorry that Vale didn't win, but ok as long as Casey was able to show the home crowd a good time. I've noticed that it really makes a difference to my enjoyment of the race when I have been at the site and watched a race myself, there. Looking forward to Magny Cours!!

Theres salt on some of the country roads here now - bollocks. Had to give Tara a wash yesterday. I may get some of that ACF50 stuff to spray on her

tax runs out at the month end so the tractor will be off the road sleeping for 5 months

Minimal amount of salt here, environmental concerns and all. And when it gets REALLY ******* cold, then salt doesn't do it. Soooo, think of them laying out tonnes and tonnes of pea gravel over the winter, and then imagine what my spring riding is like until the street-sweepers clean all that ***** up...

Thats pants mate. I'm hoping it stays mild a bit longer, I just love twisting the throttle

The snow melted that fell last week... but as mentioned, they are already littering the roads with pea gravel. Sooo, I do a lot of highway riding now as I do in the spring...

Got some GT85 stuff from Halfords yesterday while I was getting a puncture repair kit for me mountain bike, its very similar to acf50 abd much cheaper, so will lash some of that on soon

Hey Grin,

Whats that stuff for like?

GT85 is pretty much WD40 with bells and whistles. It's not like ACF-50 though.

Obviously being a lube and water repellent it will have an effect of helping protect your bike though

Cheers Weeksy, couldn't have put it better myself.
England - I've seen those before, and got a kit off Ebay with 2 cannisters for about £6. You can get the cannisters for about £1 each too.

Went out for a short hundred mile hoon with my mate and his wife on their gixxer 750 and 600. Spent a lot oftime waiting, but she's a sweetheart and I don't mind. Some big fast sweepers that let Andiamo stretch her legs. Fun with a capital Booyah!!!
Supposed to be even warmer tomorrow so I may have to go for a longer trip!
