I'm thinking of changing my gen1 from single exit exhaust to a twin......what do i need to do this?? Link pipe from later rsvs????
 
I think the front pipe is different, my old Gen 1 had a full twin can Akra system on it.
You will also need to make some sort of mounting for the second can.
 
Do i need the front pipe from gen2 or mille?? The mount is no problem to get custom made as it'll be exact mirror of standard mount..

Gen1 has a round exhaust port with 3 studs,while the Gen2 version is oval with 4 studs.Not sure of any other issues,.....except mebbe where the rear pipe is routed around the swingarm.:dunno
 
There is a 2 in to 2 arrow pipe work set on ebay at the mo for the gen 1 with no cans .

Save your self the hassle and buy them. :yes

Think it'll take a bit of modding to get 2 sets of shotguns to fit a twin exhaust system, unless you know someone in the business. :dunno

Had the same idea myself a few years ago so got a mate to do a bad photoshop of it. :thumbup



 
love the profile pic but the arse end shot :dunno maybe look better with a smaller diameter exhaust :dunno

On the standard bike the rear footrest with the exhaust mounting is different, to the one without the exhaust, so some kind of bracket will be required. Not a big problem though.
