Hi guys,
so i couldn't find a thread with my issue, but i wanted to ask your opinion on what to do. so last summer the bike went down on the left side cause of some ***** cutting me off. shortly after i took it for a ride and now the bike easily shifts into neutral in between any gear no matter the speed or how i shift. prior to the incident the bike had the typical issue of not wanting to go in neutral, after talking to a few shops around here they seem to suggest buying a new gear box or paying to open it up and see, the question i have is would the better decision be to buy a new box at nearly 1k with install or pay to have it opened and see if the shift forks are out of place for about $300-400?
