fuel range

after owning honda v twins for the past seven years with very poor tank ranges :shocked so on the run to the gp on sunday tested the mille on fuel range with me and the wife on got to 161 miles before light came on sold.when i filled up it took just over 17 litres so was very imprest:doug whats the best miles any one else has managed to cover.

Thats pretty good, i think Mine does about 140ish, never really pushed it passed that without filling up. Are you sure your clocks not set to Km :biggrin

tbh,i havent got a clue mate,never even looked.just fill her up,ride,and fill up again when the light pops on.
them hondas are ****,another reason i bypassed the sp-1,they only do about 80mile on a tank,thatd make a crap rideout with the lads,stopping every 20mins for fuel.lol
my old yam xjr1300 was one of the worst bikes ive ever had for mpg tho,that fooker could drink let me tell thee.

Am about the same as Sprocker, do about 140ish depending on how hard i ride.

you are getting good mileage there, methinks you should twist the throttle harder matey!!
140 total sounds about right but ragging mine will see the light in oh about 68, behaving myself and I will see 100 before the 4 litre 'reserve'

defo in miles sprocker, had it down to 90 on a good blast but its good to know that it can do it as i go to holland once a year. did the trip on the vtr last year pain in the *** stopping for fuel.

wouldn't say their **** have owned the sp1 just abit thirsty. two world tittle doe's say something for them
